Direct Data Access

N-able offers options for direct data access, allowing you to connect and analyze data from various sources without importing it into Analytics. This approach is beneficial for real-time or large data sets where importing data is not practical.

Direct Data Access provides a read-only view of just your data in the Analytics Data Warehouse. It uses a functionality offered by Snowflake that N-able manages.

A good time to opt in or out of Direct Data Access is when upgrading to a tier. With Direct Data Access, you can, query your data through SQL or connect to another BI tool directly to do your own analysis or combine your N-central data with data from other data sources.

After you opt in, you will receive your Direct Data Access credentials including a:

• URL

• DB name

• DB schema

• region

• role name

• username

• warehouse name

Direct Data Access happens outside of N-able N-central. There is no way to control direct data access from the N-central user interface.
